Life Tabernacle is a Christ-Centered Apostolic Church located at 4187 Dane Road in Iowa City, IA. We are passionate about worshipping God and seeing the awesome transformation that takes place when people give their lives to Him.

Everyone is welcome at Life Tabernacle regardless of race, ethnic origin, age and social status. We exist to help all people find and fulfill the purpose for which God made them. We are a church where you can be encouraged to find answers for your deepest questions.

We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Spirit (indwelling Spirit).

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

 

 

We believe the saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.  We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrecion) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts  2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4).
